Decree №34 17.05.2016 date of the Minister of Health Oktay Shiraliyev of the Azerbaijan Republic on "Improvement of mental health services to children in the regions of Azerbaijan" set up offices in the mental health care of children's health centres of the regions.

As part of these actions in the Mental Health Center held a training on organising psychological assistance in the regions. The training was attended by psychologists, psychiatrists, speech therapists operating in cities such as Sumgayit, Ganja, Mingachevir, Sheki, Guba, Lankaran, Shirvan. Doctors and psychologists of our Center made presentations on the organisation of psychological assistance, as well as mental illness and about modern methods of treatment of the rehabilitation programs. The training interactively discussed psychosocial approaches for children with autism, the organisation of a multidisciplinary team, how to work with families of children with autism, speech and behavioural skills of children and adolescents, and others.
