On October 10, 2017, a conference devoted to the World Mental Health Day was held at the Mental Health Center of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Leading specialists in the field of mental health, representatives of the Ministries of Justice and Emergencies, the Worldwide Health Organization and a number of public organizations attended the event.

The conference was opened with the appeal of the World Health Organization's Mental Health Day. The subject of this year was selected by the WHO as "Mental Health at Work".
