What is Emergency Psychological Unit?

The Emergency Psychological Unit is an important part of the Mental Health Centre which employs psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and psychiatric nurses. All members of our multidisciplinary team are ready to provide high quality services to you. This is the only setting in the country where you can get comprehensive complex assessment and treatment.

Who can apply to us?

Any person experiencing psychological problem who wants to undergo mental health assessment and receive care can apply to Emergency Psychological Unit

What are psychological problems?

If you answer ‘yes' to at least one of the questions listed below you may have psychological problem:

Is your mood decreased?

Have you lost interests or pleasure?

Do you feel tiredness or fatigue?

Do you become out of temper without any reason?

Do you experience stress for many days or weeks?

Do you think that nobody understands you?

Do you have disputes with others?

Do you have problems with your sleep or appetite?

Are you unhappy with your family?

Are you anxious about something bad that may occur in future?

Do you feel that your worries are out of your control?

Do you have obsessions or compulsions?

Do you have repeated reminiscence about bad events in the past?

Do you have fears that significantly affect your life?
